DESCRIPTION:Yeast bread dough filled with potato and dill\, then shaped into a small bun and baked. Sounds great\, right? It’s even better than you imagine. A carb lover’s dream come true\, these little warm buns are a staple in most Russian and Ukrainian homes. A little more effort to make than Pierogi\, but so worth it! \nWe’ll make the yeast dough\, smash fresh Yukon-grown potatoes with onion and dill\, stuff the buns with it\, and bake them. Brushed with butter or doused in hot cream\, you decide which way you want to eat them. This is Eastern European comfort food at its best. You will take home everything you make and enjoy a few here\, hot out of the oven. These buns freeze well and make a great lunch item. We will make only the potato filling in class\, but ground meats and fruit are also traditional fillings. \nThis is a public class open to everyone. If you are not comfortable sharing a table with a stranger\, whom you will be closer to than 6 feet (4 feet)\, then purchase two tickets and bring a friend/partner. If you are not fully vaccinated we expect you to wear a mask during the entire class. The staff at Well Bread are fully vaccinated and in good health. Should that change\, the class will be cancelled and reschedule for a future date. \n
