This is the class every outdoor enthusiast has been waiting for! Learn how to lessen your load by creating dehydrated foods that will keep you safely nourished on all your upcoming outdoor adventures.  In this class, Chef Pat McKenna will teach you the basics of safely dehydrating food. You will also learn how to rehydrate ingredients to put together a delicious one-pot meal over a cookstove (outdoor experience included in this class weather permitting). Chef Pat has backpacked all over the world! She is bursting with stories and tips that every outdoors person will want to hear. Learn more about Chef Pat here: Meet the Talent

This class is a demonstration culinary experience. You will enjoy watching a highly skilled chef prepare foods in front of you. You will taste many samples of already dehydrated foods during the class. Questions and note-taking will be encouraged throughout the entire class.
