Preserves 101 – Jam and Pickles
In this class, you’ll learn the basics to safely make preserved food using the water-bath method. Learn to capture the bounty of the garden and forest in this fun, hands-on class. We will make a variety of jams and pickles and each student will take a jar of each preserve home.
This is a public class open to everyone. If you are not comfortable sharing a table with a stranger, whom you will be closer to than 6 feet, then buy two tickets and bring a friend/partner. If you are not fully vaccinated we expect you to wear a mask during the entire class. The staff at Well Bread continue to follow all mandatory COVID-19 protocols.
