You’ll learn why flour, fat and moisture is crucial to success with pastry dough, as well as the techniques to get successful results every time. We’ll talk about common problems with pastry dough and how to avoid or correct issues when they happen…because they do happen, even to professional bakers. You’ll leave with the recipes, your own handmade dough and the confidence to finally conquer this finicky baked good. We will make traditional dough using lard and shortening in this class.
