Vegetarian 101 – Cooking and Baking
We are seeing a world wide shift encouraging humans to include more plant based proteins and vegetables in our diets. What does that mean exactly and how can we do it without sacrificing flavour and satisfaction? And what’s the difference between Vegan and Vegetarian? In this class, Amy Lank, Registered Dietitian, and Chef Cat are going to show you how to enjoy more vegetables and plant protein in your diet (or hide them in meat based meals to get you introduced to this lifestyle). Vegetarian diets include dairy and eggs, legumes, grains and plant based fats/oils. We’ll be using all or many of these foods at this class.
