In-Home Lessons

In-home, private, one-on-one instruction is now available with Chef Cat.

$150 for the first person, $75 for each additional person plus GST.

Classes are typically 3 hours in length.

Send an email to: chef@wellbread.ca to arrange a lesson.

The fee covers instruction and recipes only.

The student is responsible for all ingredients, equipment, and cleanup.

All the food stays at your house and you can make as much, or as little, as you want. This is YOUR lesson and we’re going to make the things you want to learn to make.

Chef Cat does not care what your home looks like so don’t spend unnecessary energy cleaning your house for her. As long as the cooking surfaces are clean then we’ll focus on just the cooking!

Have you always wanted to learn how to host a large family dinner but all the preparation overwhelms you and the event ends up so stressful you wish you hadn’t bothered? Chef Cat can change that. Do your cakes fail? Does your meat always end up dry and more like jerky than a succulent cut? We can conquer that, and more, together!

Do you have a young person in your house who needs to learn to make dinner for the rest of the family but previous attempts have ended up in a huge argument and now everyone has given up? Chef Cat has the solutions for that. Concerned your college-aged loved ones will eat only take-out or packaged noodles while they’re at school? Chef Cat will teach them how to make meals that are healthy, easy, and budget-friendly.

A 3-hour lesson typically allows for at 2-3 dishes to be made (beginner cook).

People of all ages have had private, in-home lessons with Chef Cat and here is what one student had to say:

“I had a great time with Chef Cat at my house. I learned lots and was able to provide a wide variety of delicious meals for my family. Chef Cat was patient, encouraging, shared lots of practical cooking ideas, and was lots of fun. Ross F. (82 years old) “
