Pastry 101 – Pie Dough

Do you struggle to make great pie dough? Those days are all behind you after this class. Chef Cat is a trained Pastry Chef and knows many techniques to help you achieve tender, flaky, tasty pastry. Every time. Past students in this class have said: “I used the crusts I made in your class! Changed my life. They were delicious.” and “I made an apple pie using the last of the pie dough I made in your pastry class. It was delicious, in fact my husband and I ate 1/2 immediately. Best crust I’ve ever made.”

In this class, you will learn how to make traditional pie dough using shortening and lard.
